Added a black Westin Bullbar in 2012.
Hey y'all I own a Black 2010 Toyota Tacoma PreRunner double cab. I installed a bull bar on the front bumper after I got the bar as a Christmas gift in 2012. Going to Panama City in 2012 I was rear ended by a semi-truck and slammed into the car in front of me. Bed of the truck was completely bowed out and my brand new bullbar was ruined, and my front bumper was ruined when the bullbar was crushed up into the bumper. Every thing was fixed though, and the truck actually finished the trip to Panama City and back to Birmingham, AL a week later. Only problem was that the notification light that my airbags had been deployed was on, meaning the airbags where supposed to deploy but didn't, I was not injured in the crash thankfully, the semi-truck had just unloaded his whole load a mile up the road otherwise I probably wouldn't be typing this right now, but I really wasn't mad that they didn't deploy. The only problems I had in the wreck was that a penny from my change drawer came flying out and hit me in the eye, and my almost full dip spit cup flew in the air and covered me and my best friend! I was just scared the airbags would deploy at any second while I was driving back with my best friend haha but the truck was completely fixed by a great body shop in the Birmingham, Al area. Dealerships can't even tell that is has been wrecked at all. But it looks like I will be on this page a pretty good bit as my truck has started to have tiny issues. Back glass latch fell off the window, and my right rear door lock will not lock or unlock with my remote clicker or from the lock/unlock buttons on either the driver side or passenger side of the truck, you have to lock and unlock it manually every time you want to open that back door, it kind of gets annoying. But other than that I absolutely love my truck! Will post pictures of the truck in a little while! I'm looking forward to all the good posts!
