What up everyone, New taco owner from NH. My first taco ever, hoping this will be a long lasting relationship. Got a 2018 TRD Sport( had to have that hood scoop) and my plan is to mod it to mimic the PRO when it’s all said and done. Any ideas on Mods would be greatly appreciated.

@MMoreno16 i guess mimic was the wrong term. I intend on having the pro style headlights and maybe the tail lights as well, depending on what aftermarket parts come out for the 18’s. Oh, and definitely getting the skid plate too. But that’s about it for “pro” style mods.

@CarverLB Damn that shit look dope! I like all the mods you’ve made, i intend on doing those as well. And I love the PRO grille, ive seen it on eBay and Amazon for like 170 or less, problem is with the new 18’s safety features Idk how i would attach the radar system that is currently attached to the Toyota emblem. I was gonna look through some of the threads later to see if anyone has taken on that challenge yet.

 

@CarverLB also seems you got a sunroof? Did you have one put in or is that factory? And as far as the blacked out tint, I’d love to do it... but cops are pricks around here, and i try avoid contact with them folks as much as i can, so i stay low.

 

Thanks, TacoDread! I'm not done yet. So much more to do. Yeah I heard about that safety feature on the 18's grille. I don't know much about it but I'm sure there's a thread here somewhere on it. So much information on this site, the search tool is your friend.

 

It's factory. My list of must haves included: Sport model, 4wd, silver and sunroof.

Also, to get some ideas, check this thread out. IMHO, this is the baddest Tacoma I've ever seen! I want mine to look nearly identical to this one when it's all said and done.
