    hi new member from north west bc and first time Toyota owner.i just traded my dodge 3500 diesel for a 2016 Tacoma sport as am downsizing as I get older.i am having issues with the headlamps not coming on in auto mode and wondering if anybody has had this issue.

    There is no auto mode. You can leave them on drl(daytime running light). But still need to turn them on at night.

    They can turn off automatically, but not on.

    there is auto on the switch and a sensor on the dash.i had it into the dealer today and they seemed to think they should be working ,but didn't have time to check any further

    it was a nice truck,but was a crew cab long box and took lots of room to park and was getting hard to climb into the box with my arthritis.

    I noticed a piece of plastic had fallen off my passenger mirror bracket so took it too the dealer and they have to replace the whole mirror at around $400 ca.they said they will do it on warranty.ouch

    my Tacoma must have been made on a Monday looks like the the front plastic bumper that holds the license plate on is falling off,maybe why the guy traded it with 18,000 miles on it.
