Then lets camp. I am planning on not setting an alarm on Saturday and then waking up, packing the truck and heading that way. We dont necessarily have to get there all at the same time. I just want to make sure that I get there in time to find a spot and plenty of firewood. @bot102 I am pretty sure is planning on coming as well so there could be a few of us. Either way, it will be a good time. I think cell phones work on that trail and I will have my radio on me if we wind up getting there at different times.

That’s the other thought, my aprs radio should have a connection so others can know where we are camping.

I can't camp. I've been out of town all week. I can't come home and then leave to go camping lol that would not be wise

Seems like there is cell service on that trail. At least near the top.

There is cell service at the fire pit. That's a good place to camp too

I remember there being like a culdesac around there that had a bunch of spot and Im sure we will have our pickings of them.

I remember one more more down the trail on the right after a switchback that I was wanting to try though I dont think it would support more than a couple of vehicles.

My plan is to bring an EZ Up with sides and set up a buddy heater inside it to have a dining area / "indoor" area if need be. Mostly I just want to try out the setup and see if or how well it works. With ample firewood outside, I predict we will thrive.

And after having a water cooler meeting here at the office this morning, I am probably going to camp on Friday night as well. Friday night is obviously going to be more of a do-the-best-we-can night as it will be late when we get there. I just need some nights in the woods. I am going to have a buddy from work with me as copilot.
Sadly, he has a Tacoma that is not going to be able to make the trip.
