    My first Toyota pickup was a white (1972-1974) I drove between 1984 and 1985. I remember the cooling system did not leak one drop of water. It was very light in the rear, of course, so it was easy to tap the brakes and screech the rear tires.
    I now have a white 2017 V6 access cab part time 4x 6 sp manual.
    I am joining Tacoma World to learn from the community and share whatever I can.

    Between the Toyotas I drove a Mazda B2000 pickup for about 10 years. It was my first vehicle with anti-lock brakes. One morning I was exiting a down-grade on a damp descending ramp and pressed hard. The rear did not lock up. Then I understood what anti-lock does.

    Before the first Toyota for a few years I had a chance to drive my dad's International pickup. It was a four-speed where first had no synchro. First was exactly reverse but with the opposite direction. Normally you start in second.
