I just wanted to put out a blanket thank you for everyone here. There's just so much experience and insight on this forum that has made my life a lot easier. I don't trust our vehicles with mechanics, and prefer to do the work myself.

We bought this truck to travel. My wife actually helped pull the trigger on getting a Tacoma and getting rid of our old Ford. We've taken this truck off-roading/exploring/camping in Texas, Arkansas, Colorado, New Mexico, Arizona, California, and Oklahoma. We enjoy backpacking, mountain biking (the real kind), hiking, and just exploring God's beautiful creation.

We did Imogene pass near Telluride, CO and a handful of other easier trails in the area before getting the bigger tires and lift...that was rough. The old shocks (OME Nitrocharger from previous owner) were almost too hot to touch after going from Silverton through Engineers pass, over to Lake City. Hoping the Bilsteins will fix that.

We've been camping out of the back of the truck, but I'm currently designing an off-road camper trailer that I expect to be able to take on most of our adventures. It'll be on 33's also.

At some point I'll be working on at least a front bumper/skid, gas tank skid, and rear diff skid. Tired of cringing every time I drag them on something.

    Current Mod list from profile:

Thank you. Yeah, we're putting it to work! Hoping these bigger tires/smaller rims and new shocks will make the trips much easier. I've learned that these E rated KO2's can take a beating, even down at 20psi.
