    Hello everyone,

Got my 23 TRDOR in lunar rock last year May, been on the site just reading and learning what mods to get and stuff. Finally decided to make an account and post up. My first mod was a OTT tune last year I think around 600 miles, definately worth it! Don’t take much picture of the truck but here is one while it was getting a exhaust reroute. See you all around!IMG_6260.jpg

    Nice truck!

im interested in your exhaust reroute (reason I discovered TocomaWorld last week after googling bent exhaust). anyway, couple weeks ago I purchased a 22 taco pro and was horrified by what saw when comparing the exhaust pipes to my 22 taco 2wd sr5 v6 access cab. The 2wd is nicely tucked and not bent.

Yeah I basically just had a exhaust shop replace that bent portion and have the new pipes higher to clear a transfer case skid plate. Here is the link where I got the idea of just raising the pipe instead of going around the transfer case. Either way works just depends on what you like I guess.

oh, I’ve gone through the thread like 15 times. Seems like some of the old crusty dudes (more than a thousand posts) have advised not doing a thing and to fix when it breaks. …but, damn that pipe hangs low.

post a picture of the finished pipe work.

you’re not far from me, some feed back on where serviced would be helpful to me.

    thanks!

Don’t have a picture of it before I installed skid plate but heres a side view. I went to South City Muffler, talked with the owner Bill and told him what I wanted and he started to work on it. I stayed in the shop and after he got the pipes set he had me check it out and make sure its where I wanted before he tacked them together and once again before welding it all up. Only downside is that he didn’t spend extra time to bend/make the heatshield fit. I forgot to do it when I put the skid on but so far no issues. Theres room for the heatshield to fit like you can see with the others on that thread.
