I found the thread about Tailgate security. Very good information!!!
I will be stopping at Wal-Mart in the mornin'.
It seems to me that someone should make those cables without the elongated hole.
This is my first Toyota and I am finding their engineers are not Gods.
How many people really remove their tailgates on a regular basis?
Surely they are in the minority.
The design should be for the majority not the minority. Just an idea, I could be wrong!
What's up with the doors not locking when you start driving?
Toyota's idea of Garage door remote control "system" is something my Grandfather designed in the 60's. And he was no engineer! Just a 'rigger.
The tilt/telescoping steering wheel that moves very little.

I am still in the honeymoon phase, though disgruntled I still like this truck!!

Ole guy - newbie Tacoma owner,

Thanks for the warm welcome Ridingontrd.
Now for questions....which mods did you find the most useful and least expensive to do? I've already done the tailgate security it works great.

How's it goin everyone? My name's Rod and I joined to find some great advice on getting a Tacoma. I don't have one yet, but I've been looking. My dream truck has been the latest model Tacoma in black, 4 door, v6 and 4wd. Is it possible to find one for 15k or less?

Welcome one, welcome all Tacoma Owners... "unless you've been banned!" Haha.
Glad to see a lot of familiar names on this thread. Not only the names, but friends too. This is a great place all the way around. I'm glad to be a part of it.
