I'll also be building a 2.5 gen tacoma front bumper and a fifth gen 4runner bumper these next couple weeks if anybody is interested.

Did you ever find any? I just put 2019 Taco wheels on my truck, and will need spacers for the front, at least; rubbing at full lock due to the difference in offset.

Clears the uca, rubs at full lock against the inner fender/liner, although I haven't found exactly where yet. Tires are 265/75-16 on 2019 TRD wheels, the offset is different enough to rub.

You’ll rub more with spacers. Just try getting an alignment and get as much caster as you can and trim/mold plastic accordingly.

Why would it rub more with spacers? I'm talking about putting the track dimension back towards stock; the 2019 wheels are offset considerably more inward than 2004 Taco wheels. Honest question, though, I'm interested in your input.
Edit: the truck is aligned properly, I keep it that way.

From what I can find online, the offset difference between these wheels and my 2004 wheels is around an inch or so.

What are the offsets of each wheel? The spacers will make your turning radius even wider, if you’re rubbing the plastic now you’ll likely rub the body mount with the spacers. But if you think it’ll fix your problem give them a whirl. Easy enough to sell if you don’t need them!

These particular 2019 wheels have a +25mm offset; the 2004 wheels I've been using have a -20mm offset. The 2019 wheels narrowed the truck's track visibly.

Are the tires bigger though? Or same size?

The truck came new with 265/70-16 tires. I have used that size, and also 265/75-16 and 235/85-16 tires. The tires on the truck right now are 265/75-16. This size does not rub at all with 2004 Tacoma wheels, which are offset almost an inch more to the outside than the wheels I am using now; this is what is causing the rubbing. Not sure how to make that more clear.

Did you end up getting your wheels figured out, Greg? What you're describing totally makes sense. Those 3rd gen TRD OR wheels are definitely more sunken in due to the more positive offset. A 1-1.25" spacer would set you up perfectly.

    Yup!
I just got back from a 4500-mile trip through the Midwest to visit family and friends; now that I'm back the spacers are on the to-do list. The SpiderTrax brand seems to have good reviews here and elsewhere, so I will go that way. I like the look of the wheels; the spacers will correct the offset issue.
The tires are working very well for me; thanks very much for selling them to me. They are the correct load range for my truck, with the correct amount of sidewall stiffness, so the contact patch stays firm at all times, no bouncing around on small surface imperfections. I'm very pleased with them. :turtleride:
