The first one you got listed is the locker itself. That is what would be inserted into your stock carrier. The 2nd one listed is a built up 3rd member which would be a brand new carrier w/ ring and pinion and the locker added as an option.

On the Lockrite, the locker is always engaged. It isn't until you get into a turn that the endcaps would be given enough play to let the teeth slip, allowing the wheels to turn at different rates.

So it's only engaged on a turn... How would that help when trying to wheel a bit?

Default mode is engaged. It DISengages on a turn.

Lockrite powers activate! Form of "a cup of coffee." :)

Yeah, Kyle. You may want to ask around to see if you can test drive a vehicle with it.

    From the off topic department:

    http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/off-topic-discussion/265823-treasure-hunters.html

    Any treasure hunters in here??
Just heard about this today, Forrest Fenn, an 82 year old New Mexico millionaire buried a chest full of gold coins and other gems worth millions and then told the public to go search for it. Sounds like fun, right?
Wonder if it's true. He's saying that americans spend too much time watching their TV's and rarely go out nowadays. He published clues as to where it is. I read somewhere that he has a weird kind of map too. Although I haven't seen that yet. His website crashed so he gave the clues to MSNBC.

As I have gone alone in there
    And with my treasures bold,
I can keep my secret where,
And hint of riches new and old.

Begin it where warm waters halt
And take it in the canyon down,
Not far, but too far to walk.
Put in below the home of Brown.

From there it’s no place for the meek,
    The end is drawing ever nigh;
There’ll be no paddle up your creek,
Just heavy loads and water high.

If you’ve been wise and found the blaze,
Look quickly down, your quest to cease
But tarry scant with marvel gaze,
Just take the chest and go in peace.

So why is it that I must go
And leave my trove for all to seek?
    The answers I already know
I’ve done it tired, and now I’m weak

So hear me all and listen good,
Your effort will be worth the cold.
If you are brave and in the wood
I give you title to the gold.

    Happy hunting!

Kyle, this. It is highly advised to test drive something with a detroit locker or lockrite. It is hard to describe because it is a unique setup. It'll handle differently on pavement and there'll be a weird feeling going into turns when it transitions to "open" and starts ratcheting. Dirt will be funner because you'll be able to rooster tail on both wheels.
