    dang! lol

Your build has more views than the most viewed build on tacomaworld! Wyatt's build is only at 142k.

Only one 1st gen build has barely broken 100k views....

Hey guys, I don't believe I know anybody here, but I would like to start offroading with the group as soon as my new gears are broken in. Hopefully I can get them broken in soon.

    My name is Ramsey btw.

Also, for the guy asking about regearing with a locker, I would highly recommend considering ECGS. That's who I went for my thirds and ARB.

Hey Kyle, update on my Lockright: Installed it this morning (wanted to get used to the new handling before regear) and I was expecting the ratcheting sound when I drove it on the pavement like I kept reading about online. But my wife was wondering if there was any sort of noise that she should be listening out for, no noise even with a short single cab and 33 mud tires. Only thing I felt was a very slight grabbing of a tire while turning at an intersection. I'll see how it does going on a 2-1/2 hour drive to Abq, and in Abq streets, if my buddy flies down here.

Haven't regeared yet. Will be going to 4.88s with 35s (maybe ill keep them until I have to buy new tires and bump up to 37s and 5.38s with a dana 60 in the rear, maybe a dynatrac but I'll see when time comes. Will either be same width or go full width. I was trying to take a zig-zag road at 20 mph, road has 3x 90* turns. But I was off the gas in the turns but couldn't hear any ratcheting.

I looked into those back when I was deciding what to put in my rear end (no homo) and, from what I read, when you're on the gas in a turn the power is mostly transmitted to the inside tire, which is the opposite of an open diff, IIRC. Because the inside tire is turning more slowly than the outside, the Lockright allows the outside tire to freewheel.
