I have that socket and can help out. Takes about 15min to switch them out. PM me when you have a sec and we can get together and figure it out.

    DAMN!!! Looking good buddy.

Do I require aftermarket UCAs or is there a cheaper fix to this problem?

18.5mpg on the last tank. I'm in disbelief but I'll take it.

I did 22 mpg going up to Moab last year. I think I was drafting off of cloudy who was doing about 55mph towing a massive jeep haha.

Looks like one of the possible cheap fixes is to turn the coil so the spring section closest to the ball joint is sitting a bit higher. Not sure of the effort required or if it will completely fix the problem. Not understanding what changed to cause this problem.

Looking at the geometry, I think a uniball design would fix it. The greater articulation would keep the top of the spindle away from the spring as the suspension fully extends.

So often, I create my own problems.

I sometimes suspect it is the gas here. I lived in Tucson for the first 4 years I owned the truck. Always got 20mpg. Moved here and starting averaging around 17-18 mpg. I took a trip up into Colorado in the Fall of 2011 and the mpg jumped up to 21.

I'm making $300 a month right now and my rent/utilities alone are $400/month.

Something's gotta go haha. The car isn't "done" enough to sell so it's the bike.

Tue or Thur after 6pm, I'm free.

Working on the holes for the hilift mounts tomorrow. Once I get those done, need help cutting down the spacers and drilling the lock hole. Not sure you'll have time for that. In the least, can drop by the house and drop off the cable.

Lets shoot for tuesday and I'll try to get the kids taken care of a bit earlier than last time and we can get everything knocked out all at once.

    Hi-lift mounts done up:

Some minor work still needs to be done, Cloudy is helping me with. Have to cut down the sleeves so the baseplate rests against the bottom of the bed, hoping to drill a hole in the top bolt for a padlock and then paint 'em black. Took about 20minutes to get the mounted, drilling 5/8" holes included.
