Hey Tom, do you have a ball joint separator? If not I'm pretty sure we can work out a way to do it.

Pigger loaned me a picklefork and a screw down type separator. I haven't verified if the screw down fits but will get to that tonight. Somebody had posted earlier that all they needed was a picklefork. Just separating at the spindle, don't need to remove the ball-joint from the UCA so I'm hoping it won't be difficult.

The UCA replaces the ball joint and uses a uniball in its place. The bag on the left UCA in your pic has the bolts and the spindle adapter. The ball joint separator is a C clamp type thing.

Can't believe the shit you're going through for a seal. Clubbing baby ones seems easier.

Maybe we should have showed up at the dealership and pointed to it on the screen.

The one I got isn't a C clamp style but I think it'll still do the job. It looks like an "A" on its side. I'll post a picture later tonight and physically verify it can be mounted to the arm.

I also have a couple of big-ass C-clamps, if they would help.

Sounds like a puller. We can use that to take off the stock UCA from the ball joint. And Pigger sounds like we can make stuff so it'll work. Kinda wish I still my spindles so I can make an apparatus of sorts for the bottom of the ball joint, "a cup. "

The fork type separator. I may have the ones that are similar to pulley pullers, I'll have to go through my toolbox.

Ahh. Well if Tom doesn't get a rental... a socket, tube, thick washer, welder, and a c clamp would work.
