I didn't get home until 12:30ish and fixed my clutch hardline that broke at the nut on the slave cylinder. Completely broke on my way home. I didn't even know it broke until I refilled the resivour and still had no pedal resistance. Lucky for me I have a flaring tool at home. So I limped the truck home.

About 9:30 I think. :) Thankfully, we got pretty lucky... Only had to change the pinion depth 3 times and carrier shims 3 or 4 times. Chad's rear has a sweet pattern, though! Pinion is slightly deep while favoring toe on drive and the heel on coast....(Perfect) Got pinion preload to about 19 in/lbs rolling torque and carrier bearing preload is "nice". :D

My favourite joke of the day:

SgtTaco (after he snaps a bolt): What grade bolts are these?
    Me: I'm guessing kindergarten.

I'ts nice that Chad's rear has a nice pattern. :washing: I hadn't noticed.

I'm outta here for a week; heading to Indianapolis for my son's wedding. I'll be back next Tuesday; try not to stir things up too much while I'm gone, OK? :stirthepot:

Sheet. Found out from Dan at Wheeler's Offroad where I got the UCAs, the ABS sensor bracket studs are only rated for 6lb/ft. I'm guessing that would get generated just using nylon lock nuts which I think has been proven.

I'm just going to cut the other one off and grind them down nice and perty. But first, I need to get a dremel tool.

That was a fun mod day, glad to get experience in both UCAs and diff building. Learned a lot!

For those that care, I have a gas tank on its way from california. Its the right one this time and it was pretty cheap.
