I have almost that exact setup except it's a 520xl. Finally ran power to it today and turned it on. Got some staticky chatter but if I turn down squelch I lose it. I must state I am far from any interstate and I have no idea what I'm doing.

Also. Tom, I haven't had a chance to order the cans yet. It's been crazy here. Wife had to jet to the easy coast for a funeral and I've been in a 40 hour HAZWOPR course. I'll get them ordered this week. The vendor is old school and I have to order by phone.

Me mum is shipping her old Canon EOS Rebel DSLR to me. I can't wait to start getting real shots of you guys. The phone camera shows its limits.

It was fun. I'm still on a high about how the truck is driving with the new UCAs. I could actually keep up with you guys in the wash bed without feeling like I was hanging on for dear life. Not even feeling bad about shredding a tire.

Kyle (KCDuran) missed out. He was busy trying to get fluids in his system. Something about crying into his pillow too much last night got him badly dehydrated.

Ha! Won't be able to get the BFG fixed until tomorrow. Hoping to get the CB antenna mounted tonight. Sorely missing comms on the trail.

Still on a high how the truck was handling. Seriously, like a whole new vehicle.
