They should have included a wiring sheet.

Which switch configuration did you buy?

Not finding the CBB one but V1D1J should be like the ARBs.

    #2 is 12VDC source

#3 is to the relay or power input of whatever you're turning on.

#6 is tied to the dashlight circuit.

Pins #7 & #8 should be grounded or to negative

What are you trying to hook it up to?

The instructions should lay out the wiring diagram.

Wait, is this a stock switch you are replacing?

If so, I'm not going to be much help. Need someone who has laid eyes on the switch wiring setup.

Hopefully someone with direct experience will check in. I'm not familiar with the color coding of the wires.

    Do you have a voltmeter?

If so, you can measure which wires have 12VDC with the ignition on then with the headlights on.

The hot wire corresponding to ignition on should be Pin #2 (12VDC source)

The hot wire corresponding to headlights on would connect to the dash light input, Pin #6

Once you identify the ignition dependent wire, try contacting it to the other wires to see when the fogs turn on. The wire you touch when the fogs turn on go to Pin #3.

The left over one should be ground and that ties to #7 and #8.

Having a great time at the Thrill on the Hill FJ Rally!

Got a little dirty today too. Put some good gouges in the sliders and kissed the bed with a rock right in front of the driver side rear tire. Only two other trucks went through it, they were lifted crawlers on at least 37's. made me feel good about my truck haha

I'm going to be posting some picks up later. Redoing the switches on the dash. Looking good so far...

And I should be posting up the pics from the Monticello Run, finally. Got me internutz back.

Some people are complaining because the trail/road they signed up for and went down was too washed out, muddy or bumpy.

I posted up a few of the things I did today beside the switch re-install.

    http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/1st-gen-builds/259729-tomtoms-03-trd-xtra-cab-24.html#post7370534

Also, found out my compressor has a leak and I'm sure hoping it is where I think it is. It keeps kicking on every 60 seconds and I'm hoping it is at the air hose fitting. Easy enough to re-tape it and screw it on better. If it isn't that, got some troubleshooting to do.

The switch re-install pics will get posted after I eat.
