Well just worked them in one side I had to force to the bed for the bolt to reach the back washer. It didn't take long actually its just one side has two bolts and the other has three.

Ya my wife found out the commissary back hone will be opening back up on Tuesday so maybe things will get back to normal . Can only hope

I still have two. One for the front. And now I can permanently mount the rear winch. Only thing is that I'm 2.5 hours from Albuquerque.

Should have called me! Easiest way is take off the two bolts (1) then put the bolts(2) on slightly, one or two thread just enough to hold the square nut on, starting with the bolt closest to the cab sliding that in the bed rail, then continuing on with the middle bolt, then the one closest to the tailgate. Sorry I was out of town we would have had that thing on in a jiffy! Hope it works out for you I subscribed to your build to see some progress. If you ever prep and re-paint it try to come down to abq and I will offer my garage for us to get it on without scratches and what not.

 

Correct if I'm wrong but I think we did that... And the bolts were just too short.. Lol

I was out of town this weekend or I would have been there, next time. Could be the bed rail is different on 2010 and then 2012. Because the bed rail is the easy part when I put it on the getting the rack rails always takes some muscle and rubber sledge.

 

That's what it basically came down to on our end. Basically what Tom and Scott were saying, its a basic cookie cutter design and sometimes shit gets sloppy. Which from what I've seen, I totally agree.

 

It is a perfectly good design if you have a.) a BFH and b.) a drill.

 

Correct answer A. I find myself using my BFH for everything I do.. I really should get better about that.

 

Its all good we got it all together and I some how managed to get 5 of the 6 bolts in will be sanding it down to replasti dip the rack. may find different hard ware . Another member had the same issues we had with getting it on.

The only thing we didn't do was take the bolts that were at the end of the bed at the top of the tail lights.

Yes good thing there was a drill and three people determined to gether that B**** on.

 

Hey guys, any suggestions on a lift? I'm looking for a 3" / $1500 budget.
I don't do serious off roading, just the usual camping in the summer, going for firewood in the winter. I dont wanna go crazy with the lift, just a little more aggressive look. Right now i have 265/70 R17...
I know their are hundreds of posts on here for reference...But wanna hear what the boyz from NM have to say....

I'd recommend the Toytec ultimate lift, the ride is really great on the highway. I had OME before, to me it was just too firm and left a lot to be desired.

I now have Icons, they are awesome for hauling ass offroad. But IMO they are overkill for a daily driver.

for a new suspension I've only ever had Icons... But I love them and Ill never go back haha
