It would suck to do that. It's not that easy and it may damage the bumper in the process. So if you are willing to take the risk of loosing some money I would do it. Otherwise I would try and sell it to another taco guy for a few bucks and buy the other one.

 

I could sand it down just a little so the paint would stick but it would turn out 100 percent good and plus whatever ramon said haha. Theres an offroad bumper with a tire gate on it for 500 and its black might go that route.

 

oh my how long its been since ive posted on here! so i got my wicked flow exhaust but have yet to get it welded on

 

I would like to hear that wicked exhaust my self. And if i like it enough. I might have to copy it.

I've had it for a while. It was painted black but it chipped so badly that I decided to take it all off. I'm debating on doing it black again though.... lol.

 

I say leave it off i had a chrome one too but finallly took it off. how did you get the bottom middle of your bumper black?

 

can't go back unless I stick with my custom satoshi "angel eye" grill. I did it a while back but got tired of it so I went with this. I liked the look of it but now I want something different. I just did the "evo mod" is what they call it to get the bumper black. I did it myself but need to do it again. Will be doing it soon. Probably this weekend.

lol. well hit me up man. I can do it for you with a rattle can. That is how I did mine. I need to redo it though because of rock chips FTL! I used to work at a paint and body shop so I can do it in a heartbeat. I think the white ones with this mod look the best to be honest.

 

haha no man you guys were right that guy turned out to be sketchy as hell stopped returning ym emails or calls so i said eff it, but i started lookin at another one 89 DXL 4x4 5 speed good tires and new rims has kinda alot of miles but runs great and is is pretty good shape. i really didnt want an amazing one cuz id feel like crap if i effed it up.

anyway long story short if everything goes to plan unlike last time i should have it this weekend or my monday at the latest haha.

haha ya i talked to the guy awhile back he honestly was kinda a dick, and i really want a 4runner i think id be settling if i got a truck, then id be pissed at my self later haha.

but everything is worked out with this other guy so i should have it by monday at the latest
