Hey all, so when I have a date and time picked out for fixing the truck I'll post it up in here for a mod day. There will be lots of initial work but not a whole lot to do while I'm welding. So I might make it 2 days, one for disasembly and one for reassembly.

But I have figured out the way I want it done and it is going to be a bit labor intensive. But who ever is willing would be awesome. And thanks to Tom and Kyle for the quick responses.

So was changing parking light bulbs and this happened on both sides. Guess I'm do BHLM now. What type of paint do you use on the reflector?

 

My new set of tools by Blue Hawk 185 PC, not the best company for tools but good enough for me

 

no paint on reflector unless doing halo's ... sand'em prime'em paint'em... leave reflector chrome

and pre heat to like 225.... let it heat up... turn off oven THEN put headlights in... also you should do the same when you're done painting and let them cook for a bit... in a warm oven not hot... you dont wanna warpem lol

 

Ya I watched a video on doing it I just need to get the light bulbs out of the head lights first

 

Alright all............So Mod/Major repair day at Cloudy's house...

Dec 3rd at 10am. Plan is to tear down the whole front end of the truck and prep it so that I can get under it to weld and repair the crack in the frame and then plate it. Mainly gonna be a tear down meet. Apologize for it being a Tuesday but I have no weekends that will work with the home schedule. Please do not feel obligated in any way to come and help. Just sucks that I work weekends.

Let me know if you all want to help or can make it. Again no worries if you cant.

i concur with KCDuran!! let us keep you company with out giving you company haha i would offer help but i work tuesdays if it were a monday or wednesday i could definitely help!
