I would just go with the Spidertracs ones. They will increase your track width by 3" overall. But they have the best warranty of anybody out there. There are some other spacers out there that will kick it out a half inch on each side to get rid of the rubbing but it will put added stress on the stock length wheel studs.

okay thanks ill look into the spider tracks it seems thats what many members are using. i got these tires just for edgewood winter conditions after winter ill be going back to my mmc endure wheels with my factory sized yokohama ats tires

EDIT: so it turns out i was suppose to get 265/75/16 sized tires I'm gonna keep the 285s cause i don't want to pay the restocking fee at discount tire. so all in all i got 285s for the price of 265s! thanks discount tire!! still considering either getting spacers or going back to discount and having them switch my 285s to my enduro wheels since they have 4.5 back spacing and switch again when spring comes around!

i know 285s are rough to run on the stock wheels but they rubbing is only minor at full lock turning each way! BTW i have a full OME lift with 885x and dakars so the 285 fit the wheel wells great and no need for the cab mount chop or trimming of any plastic up front!

Here is the torn down block on my new off road toy... It has a V8 and solid axles front and rear, just what every taco driver wants... ;-)

 

Nice. Maybe whenever my 3RZ kicks the bucket I'll drop in one of the SBC 350s I have waiting.

 

Just keep the 285's and grab some spacers. Many say, and it is proven, that running spacers will increase the amount of wear and stress that the wheel bearings get put through. But I've been running mine hard for 5ish years and have not had a single issue with them.

Need some advice. Bought my truck in Florida in march 2013 model. If you can see the dots or at least where its bright from my flash on my phone but it feels like the paint is how should I saw wearing of. Is this covered by the Toyota warranty at all? I mean I've only owned the truck for about 8 months now.

 

That's going to be hard to argue with Toyota over. They'll probably say something along the lines of you not taking care of it.... Definitely worth a shot though!
