Lobster 13 and I did both that trail and the steps on Wednesday. neoither was terribly hard. The steps were fun.

And I also picked up my new HF 20 Ton Shop Press. Still have to unbox it and put it together though. :(

    Hey flamer!

How are you liking that new machine? Have you tried any process other than MIG? Planning on renting some shop space soon? Even a two car garage is going to get pretty tight with all the equipment you've been buying.

Hey Nick. Changed the earl on the truck a few weekends ago. Was so happy that removing and re-installing the skid plate was so much easier.

Only MIG as of yet and only flux core. I should be picking up some spools of 0.23, 0.30, and 0.35 wire this next week. Cant wait to try TIG but can only do TIG with 100% Argon gas and I got a mixed tank of 75/25 so I can't do TIG quite yet.

As far as renting space........Maybe. It will be a little easier once I get Lobster13's Trailer out of the garage and we are possible looking at moving at some point within the next year and it will either have a 3 car or 4 car. So that we can use 2 for vehicles and the other will be converted to a heated and cooled shop space including wash sink and possible a parts washer. That way everything will have it's own place including a steel rack.

And yes at the moment the 2 car garage is really tight.

thanks, Cloudy. Did it without antibiotics too. I'm so proud of myself for refusing to go to the doctors. :D

I still have that CV boot kit. I'll be sure to bring it to the next meet but if you think you'll be up my way, let me know.

BTW, I should be buying a transmission jack from Harbor Freight soon. So if anyone needs transmission work down the road, more than happy to lend it out.

No worries. We'll make the exchange eventually. Also, I am replacing a bunch of the drive shaft flange bolts. Don't know if you're still missing that one off the front drive shaft, but you are welcome to grabbing a couple of the old ones that are in good shape.

I think either the transmission output seal or the transfer case input seal has developed a leak. I have oil coating the bottom of the transfer case. I thought it was from when a shop did my clutch and forgot to hook up the breather but every time I check it, it seems fresh. No drips though. So... , yeah.

I found where they replaced some of the drive shaft flange bolts with regular hardware. Not happy with what this shop did and hoping to get to the flywheel soon so I can get it all straightened out.

I also need to pull the rear axle, sand off the rust and repaint it. I think, somewhere in here, I'm going to have to seriously consider a second vehicle so I have time to do this shit. House first, house first. That's what I tell myself.
