I will be getting new headlights soon to replace my cracked ones. Any suggestions on where I could go to aim them or get them aimed for super cheap?

    Use a wall.
Also need opinions on some UCA's. I don't do much off roaring but would like to get a bit smoother ride.

Not getting the comparative. Harder than what? You say it is better than stock but "harder".

    A few thoughts:
    1. It be a truck. It is going to ride like a truck.
    2. OMEs are some of the best shocks but they are firm. Next option in my mind is to pop for Icons, Foxes or similar and get them sprung and valved how you want.
    3. What tire pressure you running at? Stock? If you are running above stock, drop it down to stock. If you don't like stock, drop a PSI or two and see how it feels. MPG will drop but that be the price of comfort.

I'm saying there hitting bumps harder than I would have thought. Don't get me wrong I love the suspension. Tire pressure is at stock requirements.

Don't ride in my truck. ;) Most people would consider that the suspension rides like shit. It is a sport type suspension, tight, firm with a hint of smooove. The big difference is in how it handles. It doesn't cover up the feel of the trail like a caddy would but it ain't all over the place.

    Couple more thoughts:
    1. Change expectations.

    -or-

    2. Play Goldilocks: spend lots of time and money researching and trying what you want until you find it.

Companies like Icon and Fox can help with custom spring and valving setup. You'll probably have to find a retailer that knows their stuff to help get it sprung and valved right. One of those options may also work fine with stock, straight from the retailer setup.

Icons are digressive (initially hard than soften as you get into travel). Foxes and others are progressive (they start soft and stiffen up as they get into the travel).

I'm eventually getting Icons and having them valved for rock crawling as opposed to desert racing.

Understand. I don't any real complaints just thought I'd ask and see if there was a way to get a smoother ride. Remember I'm not all knowledgeable when it comes to a fee things. I'm still learning :p

Get yourself a plate bumper and see if the added weight helps out :D

Dane, come take a ride in my truck with icons and you can see the difference between the two. Let me know about bumpers and whatnot as well. Adding weight in the front and the back will help increase the compression on the suspension and give you a smoother ride because of the added weight.

My ride is a bit hard because they are icons and i have the bumper ... but I had them made for racing around in the puerco not driving on the street... seeing that im in NJ now I may need to rethink my bumper and also my valving.. just need to find a reputable shop to help me out haha
