    Hey buddy.

    Nice. And welcome.

Just get one to build. You will be much happier in the long run versus getting something that you have to spend the time and money on re building stuff that you only settled for. not actually liked.

    Thanks for the welcoming!

I'll second Whitecloud and say that I've come from trying to make older Toyota's into what I have now in my Tacoma. I love my older Toyota's but the Tacoma is what I always wanted my older trucks to 'be'.

Mojavemadman has me thinking seriously about buying a 2015 then selling the current truck to pay for a S/C and an Icon suspension.

Really should buy a house first though.

    Yes!!!

Buy the house first! If you buy the truck, the banks will hold your truck debt against you and may limit your options. If you do it right you can spend less than the cost of a supercharger cash down on a house (if littke out of pocket is your goal). It cost me $3K up front to buy my first one, I felt like I robbed someone haha.

Plus you wanna wait until late in the year anyways when the dealers are trying to dump the 2015's. You have enough time to get you house before then!!!

Let me know if I can help with anything Tom!

Hey guys just found a nail in my tire. Curious as to where you'd all recommend to take it to get a fair price on patching it. My dunflops still have quite a bit of tread so I want to keep using them till they're done. Any places you all have had a good experiences at and are not too overpriced? I've had terrible customer service at the Discount right off paseo. Thanks for the help guys!

what kind of bad customer service did you at the one off paseo?
Were they rude to you in anyway? I just don't see how those guys would give bad customer service.
I've had nothing but perfect service there. great group of guys that work there that really care about their customers.

just to add, the only minor upset I had with them that turned out positive was, when I bought my 285 duratracs I originally bought 265/75s but they acknowledged their mistake and gave me the 285/75s for the price of the 265/75s which was a difference of about 300 bucks if I recall correctly!

thats great man, the last time I went in to purchase tires they ended up breaking off my center cap and didn't tell me about it. It wasn't till after I left and saw that it was broken off, and after calling and telling them they continued to deny it. Finally was able to get them to call the Audi dealership and replace it, but not without a fight. This was also after the put the wrong size tires on my Audi, and had to take it back to have them fix their mistake.

Ah gotcha. Is your center cap designed to come of to service your wheels? I know some wheels the center cap comes off to take the lug nuts off and some wheels they don't come off but can if need be. That is something I understand is upsetting and they should of taken responsibility for but it could of been a mistake that a high school kid who works there didn't realize he had to take the center cap off or didn't notice he broke it. I'm not defending them but I'm sure that sort of thing happens from time to time. It's just a matter of if they notice and own up to it or not. Don't take this the wrong way but maybe now you should do a walk around once they are done before you drive off. That's what I do every time I leave there or even when I have my truck worked.

I say get the sport for the option of a long bed if you need it. either model is a great pick though. from my understanding the sport handles a little better with the slightly bigger sway bar. if anything you can always add a locker later down the road if need be. i chose the off road for having the e locker just in case since mine is only a prerunner. but all in all its really down to style anyway since there are only a handful of differences at most between the two.

my 06 OR pretty much looked like a sport but had the e-locker i guess was more peace of mind then anything. i assume if i did get another OR i would probably style it after the sport anyhow. im pretty sure i wouldnt get myself into a situation that needed the locker but then again you never know. only other option is the trd pro offers best of both worlds i guess but a step $$ at that.
