Southern x we are meeting at the Blake's on 550 at 9:30 to give time for 2 rigs from further south time to meet up. So I figure we will gas up at the Walatoa visitors center gas station somewhere around 10-10:30 am tomorrow.
I haven't explored the Ponderosa area enough.Which is a shame since I've been thru to route 4 quite a few times. It spits out near Jemez Falls.

White Cloud I never really explored the Puerco until I got the heep a few yrs ago. I never had anyone to wheel with til then.
Since then II'veknow Mine Shaft, Waterfall, Rock Garden, Snoopy. Jamie with NM offroad his the Pizza Sign which a bud and I found the first go round. I'm not pretty comfortable with where things are out there. I love watching the buggys crawl out there.

I still need to get down to Gordys Hill. Haven't done that yet. I found a real sweet hidden trail up past Gillman Tunnels that gets you on top well away from people. I need to explore that more. We only saw utv's on that trail. Absolutely beautiful at the end.

Well guys unfortunately I can't lead a meet after the sportsmans meet. I'm working swings now and go in at 1600 and only have 2 days off a week now, being Monday and Tuesday. But if we want to go Sunday morning I could lead out there?

Mornings in the desert always sound better.

Radio Questionn - what's everyone on here running? I have a HAM handheld (no license yet) which is normally set to the NMOFFROAD channel of 147.570 .
I also have a CB but I haven't decided whether or not to install it since I want to get my HAM license and get a nice mounted unit.
Also how are your antennas mounte? I'm liking the the rear corner mounts over the tail light.

I also won't be able to make the meet tomorrow in the Jemez if it's still on I had something come up

I should be able for a Sunday morning run next weekend. I'm not a fan of going out in the heat of the day. At least it seems to be cooling off a little.

I don't know where everyone here likes to meet since I'm the newb but I personally like the lot right after the asphalt That way you can air down before the dirt road in.

I think typically everyone meets at the first sand dune out there but right after the pavement ends works for me

I will try to make it out. I have some trimming to do before than since I had some issues last weekend.

Hey everyone! New to TW and had been originally posting on T4R.org but am wanting to get out there, hit some trails, and meet some new people. Clearly this tread is the place to check for all of that. I am pretty much stock but want to get out there and explore. A few friends of mine have 4Runner and we go fairly frequently but not nearly enough.
