Hey guys, trying to clean out my garage. If anyone wants a front stock skid plate for a 2nd Gen let me know. It's just the front one, not the rear (availible soon but not net). Cost - 12 pack of diet coke!

I haven't really pimped myself out on here yet. I get most of my work from word of mouth. But I got some laser cut parts in today and thought I might as well. For those who don't know I do a lot of fabrication. I have made many parts for @SGT Taco and his neighbors trucks. Also did a cool gas can mount for @tomtom and other stuff for people not in this forum. Anyways, I just got a huge order of laser cutting in for some LED Light bar mounts. These are for 2nd gen's (both grill versions). I am also an LED light dealer so if you are interested in anything please let me know. I will take care of the local guys how I can on those for sure!

Also I just got parts in to make some 2nd Gen weld on sliders. If anyone wants a set please let me know! These may work for 1st Gen's as well, I would just need to verify, would take 5 min if you swing by. Anyways, thanks for looking!

Slider parts. More pictures to come of finished sets as I build them up.

    Hey guys. Been a while.

Does anybody have a line on tires? I know we used to have a couple dudes that worked at Discount here. Trying to buy a set pretty soon.

Also I've developed a weird squeak in my driveline. It's rotational and it happens as I start rolling away from a stop in drive, not in neutral. I can also make it squeak by having the rear wheels off the ground and manually turning the driveshaft. I have fully greased all of the joints with no change. The squeak resonates through the driveshaft tube so I'm having trouble pinpointing it.

I have not tried them on a 16 yet but I would like to!

As for single rows, I don't carry them, but I can get them. Shoot me a PM with what your looking to do and I can get you set up!

Did some shopping around. They were the only ones that primed before they coated. All the others said it wasn't necessary unless piece would be constantly exposed to moisture. All powder coating said priming just is better way to do it. I liked that.

They are very busy. They coat for manufacturers like Catapiller. And they do a lot of coating for metal art. You may have to wait for a bit to get your item back from them. I had to wait 3 weeks for my sliders. They also have done my front and rear bumpers.

I will shoot them a call. I have been powder coating for a long time and never heard of a primer. I know some companies don't sand blast which is a problem, so you have to check for that.

Shoot me a PM with details of what you want and we can work out a set to match your needs!

For shop work I had Toyo Masters just NE of Jefferson and Ellison work on my old '00 tundra. Honest shop and excellent work. They even have me options to save money by tracking down a replacement rear end.

For tires go see Joe Cowling at Rio Hilltop Goodyear just past Intel. Tell him you're with NM Offroad and that Tim Jewell sent you. NM Offroad gets the commercial prices and if you do find cheaper then Joe will match. He's a Damn good dude that I personally wheel with. 370ce19b6c48bc157748ea7a4e3bc758_7eae26c0855ac9fd3ec4ca99d452fb1967e3e81c.jpg

I got my 285's and wheels for $1500
Hercules AT 2's on American Eagle wheels.

If you hit up Rio Hilltop on FB the Joe himself will respond promptly and get whatever quotes you want.

Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately I just got back from getting tires at discount. Got a decent price but I needed tires bad. Had my Duratracs for a lot of miles. Totally happy with them but I haven't been off-road in so long I couldn't justify the cost this time. Went with Pathfinder Sport A/Ts. Lots of good reviews so we'll see.

And thanks for the shop recommendation. I usually try to do my own stuff but this one has me stumped.

Howdy 505'ers. Back in ABQ after a 14 year hiatus doing the military thing. Used to have an 09 AC TRD OR and ended up grabbing a 15 DC TSS. Would love to meet some other TACO owners and do some runs, mod days, etc. I'm on the west side near Unser and McMahon. HMU and let's plan a meet and greet/mod day etc. If anyone knows of any runs coming up, please let me know. Happy holidays Borquenos!
