When the Kings show up. Think they are slated to be due in 2 to 3 weeks.

rio puerco is the main spot locally. just take southern in rio rancho all the way out till it stops. theres some weak spots out by cnm west side all the way out to the puerco. montesa has some sandy hills and derpy stuff. then detention dunes out by sandia raceway. but people go all around up north and north west. check out the nm adventure series thread or new mexico offroad

You do realize that Alamogordo is like 2.5 hours south of ABQ, right?

@S and J There are a couple of other USAF dudes on here that are stationed at Holloman/WSMR who might have an idea. There's plenty right around there, tons of national forest over towards Cloudcroft (Lincoln National Forest) and Ruidoso. There's a shitload of BLM west and south of WSMR. An hour or so north, around Socorro, there is plenty more National Forest and BLM to explore. I'm not super familiar with the area and don't know any trails specifically, but there's more than enough for you to spend a day or two wandering around.

    Nice!

I ordered mine with the 700lb coils. Going to swap them out for 600lb coils that MojaveMadMan has laying around. Save the 700lb ones for whenever I get around to the bumpers (which may not happen).
