Ok one more fun one that applies to our shooting trip... Bacon shaped shooting targets... hahaha.

No really though I will probably cut out some steel walking and crawling zombie silhouettes to shoot up!

My daughter once sent me bacon-shaped bookmarks, and bacon-flavoured air fresheners for my truck. :dancingbacon:

Also, bacon-themed birthday cards, and a bacon-themed plaque, professing that, while she loves bacon, she loves me more!! :D

    Love that girl... :woot:

    Let me look...........

    Looks like it was 350.00

Granted I got the biggest tent they have and it was only me and another guy in NM that were in the GB. He ordered his separate and I worked it out w/Bobby so that I didn't depleat my account. So once I pay the other half then it will be on the way to me. Last I heard it was still on a boat somewhere in the ocean.

Have a set of almost new in box Husky X-Act Contour rear floor liners for 05-15 access cab. They were only in the truck for a month before a red light runner totaled her :(

TW price $40. Putting them on CL for $50. PM me if interested.

EDIT: Aaaaand, just like that, they're back up for sale.

I was considering picking one up. Would shipping be cheaper to double them up together?

It would be and would save some overall. Issue is that it is still shipped via freight. If your not in much of a hurry, you can order yours and just tell them that your gonna group the shipping with mine and that way they can package them together.

Hit some trails up in Cloudcroft today

The area up there is really nice ha! If there are any good trails that a 2WD non lifted (for now) Tacoma can run in the Alamo area it would be cool to know about!

Brody Hooper at Speedlab may know where to get that done. Yellow building on Eubank, just north of Indian School Rd.

Hmmm, this crowd might know, anyone in this state good at welding up cast aluminum?

Specifically a small crack in a motorcycle crank case in front of the drive sprocket. (I was dumb and lazy and ran a chain waaay to loose)

Are you going alone to moab, or with another vehicle? I looked into doing it alone one time I was passing through on a work trip, and the best option for me to do true wheeling was to go with an outfitter.

I don't have much wheeling experience, didn't want to go solo vehicle, and more to the point, didn't want to break my DD a long way from home.

Now I just ended up exploring some soft roads in the area solo. No clue where, I just wandered around for a day. I highly recommend that strategy. But with a bit more planning. There are something like 5 different parks around there to explore. Not all are vehicle friendly.

Know at least one guy in San Antonio, he has built a few hot rods, even does the frames, but closer to where I'm living would be a plus.

There are more roads to explore in Cloudcroft than Alamogordo. There is a road at the five mile marker on the Sunspot highway on the right and the very next road on the right will take you to High Rolls. Where did you take the picture? Have a picture if I can find it of a lightning strike tree that is destroyed off Forest Road 223. Happened les than a week after I camped near the tree.
