Sounds pretty good. I'll be putting them on a set of King coilovers. How many miles on them? How much do you think you want for them? Thanks!

Long story short, but there is a fellow in my church who has run into some hard times and is looking for some cheap transportation. A couple of us want to help him out. Does anyone know of a cheap car or truck ($1,000 - $1,300 or so) for sale in Albuquerque. This will need to be mechanically sound and pass Bernalillo County emissions, but does not need to be pretty cosmetically. It will need to be an automatic transmission due to some physical limitations.

    Thanks.

That'd be awesome, it'd have to be the weekend of the 5th - going to need the truck for hauling wedding stuff to the venue the following weekend. If that won't work I was going to check the bolts tonight to see if it's something I can do myself after work each day. Then I could borrow the jack and stands for a couple nights. Don't want to borrow the stuff to find out more bolts will be stuck and have to put everything back together with limited time after work.

I did not buy new u bolts. The current ubolts are the ones that came with the block so they are longer than the stock ones. Should I get different ones?

    That'd be sweet!

Of course beer will be provided.

And that weekend would be dependent on if I work or not. I work with the river drying so if it dries again I may have to work that weekend - won't know for sure until the week of.

That's another reason why I may just have to do it myself a little each day after work since my job is very variable. Hopefully my bolts are nice this time :fingerscrossed: going to penetrate the fuck out of them though (with pb blaster of course)

A bit confused on the u-bolts. Are you re-using ones that are currently holding the axle to the leafs? If so, you should get some new ones. Makes life easier since you can just cut old ones off if they are that badly rusted. Should use new ones anyways due to the torque and stress/strain they experience.

Welcome to borrow jack + jack stands if you need them.

@Jmad1997 @tomtom @WildLand If you all want to figure out a mod day, you all are more than welcome to come out to the house here to get it all done. I have more than enough tools, jacks, and jackstands. Just let me know and I'll make sure that the garage is clear. If I'm feeling good at that point I'll probably help too.
