    Whats up from Abq!

I know this isn't necessarily the right thread and will take a miracle but I'm gonna give it a shot anyways! Im looking for a silver streak mica hood scoop for my 2nd gen (07)! Also looking for the grey TRD 4runner wheels... which also might take a miracle to find!

Good luck with your adventures folks!

Does anyone have some 1st gen stock Suspension parts they’d want to sell me? I need front strut/coil assemblies and some rear shocks.

Also looking for some cheap stock size wheels and tires. Preferably alloys. Lmk. Thanks!

Damn you’re good! I actually am. I found a locked up armored reg cab that I’m going to buy this week. So I’m going to put mine back as close to stock before I put it up for sale.

I'm surprised to see you selling James, you have a lot of work in your rig. Are you going to pull the turbo setup to use on the new truck? I assume it will be a 4 cyl as well, because you don't see too many reg cabs with the V6. Do you have a link to the FS ad for the one you're buying?

I wasn’t really looking to but it just came up. When I bought my truck I really wanted a reg cab but it was difficult to find one in decent shape that didn’t cost more than an ext cab. I’m going to pull the turbo set up off before selling. I’m not sure if I will use it or not. The one I’m getting is a 2.7L 3RZ w a supercharger. So I’ll probably just see which FI set up I like better and go with that. It’s actually FS here on TW.

Right on, I've looked at the ad for that one a few times. You're going to have to start hitting the trail with me more often to make use of all that new equipment.

Sweet!!! I checked that ad out so many times. Such a nice rig. How are you going to get it to NM? Drive it back or ship?

What's the name of that roadhouse on the cutoff from Hatch to Deming? I've been by it many times, the road is SH26, then there is a cutoff to the west, a county road, there's a schoolbus stop there right by the roadhouse. I've been down that road many times past some ranch roads to make a night stop. I stop and set up camp, leave no trace, nobody bothers me and I don't bother them.

I'm going to fly out on Friday morning and drive it back over the weekend. I went back and forth on doing that vs having it shipped. Finding a reputable shipper that doesn't cost an arm and a leg it much tougher than I thought it would be. Driving it back will cost less than half as much as shipping including my plane ticket out there. It'll be a long ass drive, but it should hopefully be kind of cool being able to see some new places. I wish I had time to make it more of an adventure on the way home, but I'll just be getting as many miles as I can each day to get home for work on Monday.

Hell yeah, congrats! Totally agree, as much as it might be a bit of a pain to squeak it back before Monday at least the truck is in your hands and your control. Better that then taking the chance someone will take care of it during shipping and ending up with something different than you bought by the time it's here.
