Oh, before we left, we ran into a guy who used to own a pyrite mica truck, with crawl box/supercharger/etc. Ring a bell to anyone?

Didn’t catch his name. He was out there biking, didn’t have a forest service uniform or anything.

Ok. I'm pretty sure it was him. I actually worked for him up in Idaho. He had a sweet little truck. He ended up selling it to his nephew in Texas, but I think his nephew sold it later on.

Sure has been quiet on here. Here is a pic from last weekend to try to get people thinking of the outdoors. Anyone planning any runs soon?20190707_094639.jpg

We have a stop over in Salt Lake tonight but heading down to Canyonlands and Arches tomorrow. Don’t have a lot of plans for those two becuse of the heat but going to drive a pretty simple trail in Canyonlands I’m pretty excited about.

How was Yellowstone? On my way up there as we speak. Just passed through Moab this afternoon. If you see a red taco headed towards salt lake, probably me.

Yellowstone was great there is a lot to see we only had one day but made a big loop from 191 -> 20 -> Gand loop rd -> Norris canyon rd -> 89. There is A LOT of people so be prepared to get stuck in traffic behind people that stop to look at animals, instead of pulling over. They will stop in the middle of the road so it holds everyone else up.

Anyway not sure where you’re at now but it’s worth it to enter the parks (Grand Teton & Yellowstone) through The Moose entrance and take Teton rd up to 191 there is hardly any line and a super beautiful drive. If you’re heading in by way of West Yellowstone you’re gonna be in like for a while as that entrance is PACKED. Either way have a blast out there!

I actually just went through Moab yesterday and camped by Spanish Fork last night and headed through SLC this morning. Didn't see either of you guys that I know of unfortunately.

Thanks for the Yellowstone tips. We'll be doing that on the 15th. I'll see if I can't get some sweet taco pics in here.

I'm gonna have to dedicate a trip to Moab. That place looked awesome. 4x4s and ATVs everywhere. I imagine the off road scene is even better.

Oh dang we were pretty close to each other last night we were near Lehi. We hit the road around 10 but of course heading the opposite direction and pretty hard to see other cars when you’ve gotta concentrate on that real shitty section of highway haha.

We took Shafer Trail from Canyonlands out to 191 it was an easy drive with a couple small obsticlas. Totally worth a drive if you’re looking for something simple away from everyone and the Potash ponds are real cool.

Of course hope you have a good time out there. Moab has great off-roading in the area I wish we had more time here but we should all plan a trip!

I'll be watching for dates. As of now I've only got plans for the end of September and mid October.
