My parents live in Corrales. I will keep an eye out for your truck driving around when I go see them.

slow for the moment haha. I ordered some parts last week and half of them showed up. Hoping the rest show up this week so I can start getting things apart, it needs a new head gasket and going to do the timing belt/water pump while I’m in there.

Its that time of the month again for our meet up. It's still looking like a brewery isn't really much of any option but @TacoIII is offering up his place to get some beers and distance ourselves responsibly if people are interested.

    When: Tomorrow July 6th - 6:00 pm
Where: @TacoIII place PM for address

Fellas! Hope you guys are doing well. Sorry been out of the loop, we got our coffee shop open July 2nd and its been nuts.. crazy busy.. I've hired 9 people, probably need 1 or 2 more. We have a patio setup though and we close at 6pm everyday (4 on sunday) so if anyone wants we could always have a small gathering out on patio area..

Tacoma wise.. not much. Months ago I ordered sliders from AVS -- Alex had dealt with them and had a good review.. so I tried. I think he lost my number and order -- he told me 5 week lead time.. 10 weeks later I got in contact and he was like.. oh yea I tried to call you. He then asked me what I wanted again... said it would take a week or so.. today he contacted me that they were ready, I asked for a total.. originally he quoted me 550 installed and painted with rattle can bed liner.... today he messaged and told me the total was $809... so i was confused.. when I reached back out to him and told him what I wanted I thought I was repeating exactly what I asked for months ago when I tried to order.. (kick out, top plate cut with zia..painted with bed liner... )

So, I know Alex had a great experience with AVS... as someone who owns a small business and tries hard to support local, I can't get behind the complete lack of customer service that I was given.. . so that's my review.

I'll tell the guys about it at work since they head that way for the big solar site in Moriarty.

Well that's super lame he did seem like a bit of a space case but 10 weeks and an almost 300 upcharge is ridiculous, either way, sorry to hear it man.

Next time im out that way I'll definitely drop by the new shop.

If you plan on coming over, bring a chair. If not I always have options, cinder block, 5g bucket ect..

Can someone recommend a shop in town that can change my diff and transmissions fluids along with my spark plugs? I typically do this kind of stuff myself but I just don’t have the time right now and I would like to get it done before a big road trip in a few weeks.

Well looks like it’s about time for our monthly meet. @TacoIII is offering his place up again so we’ll forgo the brewery. Bring some beers or whatever else you like to drink and we’ll distance ourselves responsibly and chat about nonsense. Let us know if you’re interested especially because I’m getting tired of @TacoIII he’s pretty boring.

    When: Thursday September 3rd - 6:00 pm
Where: @TacoIII place PM him or me for the address

Damn I’ll be moving back to ABQ September 15ish. Bummer I am missing this one. I’m definitely in for the October meet up. I’m happy to offer up my place in Corrales. Also would be interested in setting up modding And wheeling days. First weekend my wife and I get there we are camping and wheeling up in the San Juan’s (Blackbeard pass and imogene if they are open) , but soon after I’d like do some NM exploring.

Notice I managed to keep the NM plates for the two years I lived in Wisconsin :D

I bet you never saw another NM plate. When I lived in NC I had a person living just down the road from me with NM plates. We will be definitely having another meet next month, either your place or mine.
