The most prominent one overlooks the River/springs resort. Pretty cool place.

That's probably the one. Breakroom brewing company is what I think it is...

The only Breakroom bar that I know of is in the middle of town, right on hwy160.

Little bit of this and that
Today's adventure in NM was spent checking out the Bisti Badlands south of Farmington. Lots of cool hoodoos and rock formations/banding out there. Worth a look if you ever find yourself in this part of the state. And to keep it Taco related I met my parents there, dad happens to drive a '14 that has a OME lift and Cooper AT3's.

Anyone here built a house on their own?

We've been exploring the idea of building instead of buying our home since good houses are hard to come by in Los Alamos. We'd probably just live out of our motorcoach while building it. I'm thinking we'd do a 4 bed 3 bath with a large attached shop big enough to fit the motorcoach in.

It looks like NM is pretty friendly to homeowners building their own houses compared to Atlanta. We've flipped two houses in Georgia, so I have no issues with general work, framing walls, doing plumbing, electrical, etc. I only lack experience laying foundations (I'd contract that out anyways) and with NM-specific permitting.

Hey what's up, that's where my family is from! Spent the first few years of my life there too. My dad and grandad worked for the Kellars.

I work up there, but live in Rio Rancho. I could not muster spending $400K for a 50 year old house, 1400SF, 3 bd, 1 bath home. You know what I am talking about. I am also not sure on the new homes in White Rock.
