Yep that's us. Happy to report that it's now registered in New Mexico so my white plates of shame (damn tourists!) are gone.

Dominic at Adaptive Vehicle Solutions (AVS) can get it done. I’m sure there are a few other shops around like TAV but probably gonna cost you an arm and a leg there.

Does anyone have two sets of tires that they are willing to sell? I just bought a military trailer today and I really need to replace the tires on it. I also don't want to buy 4 sets of tires if I don't have to.

Anyone have a recommendation for a decent shop in Albuquerque to paint the Tacoma? It's an older truck so I'm not looking for a high end job but I'd like to find something a step above Maaco.

While I am not from New Mexico, I am only an hour from you. I drive through Pie Town quite often.

Half of Catron county is Tejas plates now. They won't last. Not many do.

Well, it finally happened. First big maintenance issue with my truck. Just left the dealership for a routine oil change and they discovered a significant oil leak. They believe it’s the timing cover seal. Don’t know how long it’s been happening (I’m going to guess at least 10k+), and I dont know how much it is leaking. All I know is that they are quoting $4,400. Does anyone have a shop they recommend in town that could take care of something like this? From what I understand the engine needs to be removed to repair it and the system is quoting a 21 hour job. Any help is appreciated!

I've had good luck over a couple of decades with Toyomasters. Chris has been there from the time I started bringing my '93 to them. Recently had them do a driveline oil change on my '15.

I gotta get back down there, used to climb at Enchanted Tower near Datil a bunch but have only made it there once since the 'easy' access was closed.

    Hey all,

Wanted to put some feelers out to see if anyone is looking for an FJ. I have a 2014 that I’m looking to sell. I haven’t started an ad or listing anywhere but thought I’d check here to see if anyone is looking or knows anyone looking. Iceberg White, 62k miles, all stock and amazing condition. Thanks - and any thoughts or advice, happy to hear that as well.

Recent Tacoma convert, a 2013. Glad to see so many Tacoma fans in NM. I’m in Tijeras. My neighbor has an ‘85, and a 1995 that is approaching 400K. Four other Toyota pickups on the street (11 homes total).
