yup i know how that is my day was a little wack. the lady got her wisdom teeth out today and god damn i was her little bitch all day i was hopin someone would just break in and shoot me haha

but really today kinda sucked but it coulda been worse know what i mean?

 

yeah i know what u mean im a waiter and like it was slow as hell today every minute felt like an hour... dragged on forever or have u ever was so bored as work u keep looking at the clock and times slow as hell stll

and yup i know how that is, at my summer job i work at a plant nursery and 1 its hot as hell, 2 there is pretty much no shade, 3 when we are slow we hope to god our boss doesnt find us, and 4 really hope to god our boss doesnt find us haha

 

SO yesterdays trip was a dead end

 

Where is this? We didn't get much here in ABQ. It was like we had a force field or something blocking the snow. even the radar had a big hole over town.

 

1st gate in Bland Canyon, about and hour North West of Albuquerque,its canyon just south from Dixons Apple place, snow was still coming down when i was there.

 

It was those crazy gusts that kept the snow from coming down....the snow was so little at my place when i stepped in to it i didn't leave a foot print..

 

Anyone know a good place close to town where i could unload some 12gauge shells? or any ranges that will allow shotguns..i know there's one but its only open in the summer.. i dont mind driving 30min to an 1 hour to the place..any suggestions would be helpful

Supposedly there is an offroad club here in town that meets up, and there are alot of taco driving members. Next meeting, i'll catch up with them and spread some NMTW propaganda.

I'm lookin' at buying a new head unit, now that everybody is all a craze about them. What do you guys recommend? I'm lookning for a single DIN I think...don't really see myself using the dvd/nav stuff... don't care about HD, but i'd like bluetooth and ipod capabilities.. I'd also like, (eventually when I'm not poor as phuck), to go a bit more high end with the rest of the system too, so I need something thats good enough to drive the system...

thinking about alpine cda-105, (crutchfield has them for like 200 bucks with ipod cable)..


Any suggestions? Also, whats the deal with *********? Those little brackets that they make do what. enable you to use different sized speakers with the stock mounts? everybody is all the nuts of the image dynamics subs.. anybody ever heard them? OK. a million questions is over.

Haha. Dont know 'bout any of that high speed stuff, but I do know you got to pay quite a bit extra for the setup that links up with the steering wheel controls...(never had 'em before, but dammit I'm getting attached to my little luxuries...) :]
unfortunately i cant even justify the $150 Ipod hardwire cable (might as well just get a whole new HU at that point...)

Hells Yeah! Thank you guys.I will have to rent an avalanche transceiver from Silverton. They actually need a couple days after a storm to do all their avalanche work, so hopefully the weather stays clear, and I think its gonna be EPIC!!
Part of my goal for this trip is to scope it out so next time I can go up there unguided, when the tickets are much cheaper.
