anybody here want some jbl stuff? I've got all 6 door speakers, amp, and sub. I had the intention of selling it, but I ran out of time, now we've gotta get shit out of our house. I'll take donations.... Also, I've got the plastics for the rear or the truck, too.

So -- just a quick rant. WTF if up with the Japan rescue effort? When a disaster half this bad happened in Haiti, everybody and their mom rose up to save the whole country. MTV airing commercials ever 30 seconds trying to raise money, Verizon offering text donations, blah blah blah. Japan got rocked worse, and Lady GaGa and Charlie Sheen are the only ones helping?

Also, what the hell is Haiti good for anyway? Japan developed and built our trucks, motorcycles, electronics, ect. What has Haiti done? Voodoo and the Zoe Pound gang are about their coolest accomplishments... Oh, maybe they export bananas or some fruit or something..

    Welcome, Scott.

Abe -- I'm headed up tonight to begin orientation. I'll come back down and scoop up my wife next weekend, and I start shift work next tuesday. I'm hoping to get settled, and start flying with PHI or Lifeguard in a month or two for fun.

Japan rocks haiti's ass. I understand the money thing, but still, can people at least act like they care as much?

    So uhhh.. tripple post?

Some pics of the new(ish) bike:

Did an oil change on my wife's Honda Civic this morning which was a fairly traumatic event. When I removed the filter, (after about an hour), this little green plastic/spring gizmo was floating around inside the filter. It slid through the mount hole of the filter pretty easily, so I'm assuming its a component of the filter, intended to keep tension on the filter media and the can... any ideas?

I did, there aren't too many photos. All the threads i've found have old or dead links in em'. I've already driven the car for about 10 miles, had it up to temp, ect. No codes, lights, funny driving, or leaking oil. I imagine it's ok... I've gotta drive up to albq tonight though, I'm sure somewhere outside of TorC the filter will blow off and the motor will seize... then I'll get gang raped by the hills have eyes crew..
