compass blew! replaced under warranty, and they washed my truck it was still muddy and when they pulled it out of the service bay it was washed  also bought some new TRD seat covers, i bought some from huntforsteve and when i went for the compass fix i asked if they had some glue or something for the neoprene part that was splitting so they gave me a new set!

ive never heard any issues with spacer lifts however with the 6" cut cross members could be a different issue, how ever they have to prove that warranty claims are caused by after market items, for instance they cant say well your fuel pump went out because your lifted your truck.

if i were you i would consider getting the warranty, and you need to do it before you hit 36k!

Put on some new 285/75/16 Goodyear Duratracs. Truck is dirty (as usual), but here is a pic:

Yes, Duratracs are AT's but they are about the most aggressive ones I've ever seen. I drive on icy/snowy Colorado roads pretty frequently and I've had mudders do very bad things in my old Bronco.

I'm taking a hobby metal fab class at the college. I have access to every welder, plasma, shear, and break (bender) imaginable. I have plans to build sliders first, then skids, and bumpers. I've been doing pretty heavy research and drawing up some plans. While I'm for the most part a novice on metal work, I have a spectacular professor that will help or do everything I can't.

Take a look at the "Phase 2" front end pic in my gallery. While it's not a great picture, they look like mudders from the front too.

Yeah, dude. Sign up for a class at the community college. It's the only class I take. Just wanted to do it for fun. It cost me like $40. I had to spend some money on a welding hood and stuff though. They have tons of 3/16" and thicker scrap lying around. I could make the skids and bumpers out of materials and never even put a dent in the piles of stuff we have access to. I have to buy the tube for the sliders. It looks like they'll cost me about $80.

It generally takes about 1.5 to 2 hrs to complete. We are going to go deep into the trail which will take us about 4 hrs to complete, maybe longer b/c of all the vehicles(of course its going to be cut down b/c of all the people dropping out b4 the meet) but the first little section can be accomplished in 45min if you dont stop, and then drop out at that time and head back to the main road.

Your going to love the DuraTrac's, I've had mine for almost a year now and absolutely no complaints. They have performed well in every type of terrain I've been through from snow and ice to desert sand and rocks.

Lol if you run out of gas...Alex went with me and dom. He has 2wd, minimal ground clearance, open diff and still killed the trail in style!!! Since you have a locker and 4x4 I dont think you should have a problem...If you do then you prob need to go to driving school again.
