Hey guys, I pick up my new truck in a few days and I cant wait to take her out wheeling! I was wondering do you guys have pictures of the mesa from your last run? I wanted to see what its like and see if I can get a small group from my area ( alamogordo area) to come make it up there too.

Also, does anybody wheel around TorC or Elephant butte? My Dad lives over there and I have done a little wheeling, but I wanted to go with some other people, not just by myself.

I sell Toyotas here in town and we just put on our FJ rally last month and we just got a teaser video from the video crew... Check it out.

If peeps are rallying from wayyy the fuck, we should schedule a farmington meet or somewhere legit... The Mesa is rad, and its my backyard and all, but dont drive 6 hours for it !!!!
the waterfall is pretty gnar. and so is that other canyon right next to it, but thats crawler status shtuff. and actually there is about 200 square miles that I havent even checked out, cause getting lost is overrated. Rowe mesa goes all the way from canoncito to almost Vegas (villanueva) but most of it is unmarked BLM forest roads that all look similar (i.e. easy to get completely fuct off and lost) . My usual thing is to go up there, collect moss rock,:spy:*questionable w/o permits* drink some beers and go shooting.*definitely questionably a federal offense* OR.... do some bouldering on some of the cool little cliffbands.and drink beer.and shoot. or some other combination of redneckish activities....so imo the wheeling is best in combination with other crap.... not that I am not down to see what ol' cutoffs has up his sleeve (harhar).

If I make it back up there I can snap some Pix. and not of my six pack either.:anonymous:

just sayin'... TW is putting u on the map!

Yea I know quads are for chicks but I'm not a dirt bike kinda guy. I would like a RZR but don't want to throw down that kind of money.

I've been resisting the urge to get a dirt bike for three years now. Quite a few of my friends ride them, but a lot of them get messed up on them too, hitting rocks, trees, hard dirt, whatever. I'm 53 & don't heal as fast as I used to.

On the other hand, I ride my 1198 to work every day. Different kind of danger, I guess. i don't jump it or wheelie a bunch, though.
