I have E-rated Pro Comps on mine, 265/75-16, and they ride much harsher than my BFG All-Terrains & Mud-Terrains. My truck is light, and the sidewalls are too stiff for it.

All of the above tires are slippery in the rain. No hydroplaning, just like to slide. The BFG's do well in snow; haven't had the Pro Comps in it yet. The BFG's are very tough, and have stood up to some sharp rocks and cactus with no problems. Some out-of-round problems with all of the above tires, the Pro Comps being by far the worst.

    Just my $0.02. :)

I was running 285 DuraTracs on my Tacoma before I traded it in.

Can't complain about the ride or the handling. It didn't snow down here while I had them so not sure how they do in snow.

They rode fine to me and got lots of compliments on the looks. They are just as loud as any other MT in my opinion though.

Just ordered a set of duratracs from 4wheel parts. Saved a ton of money. If you use EBATES. Click here to sign up, its free and saves me a ton of money on stuff, even fleebay and other stores.
    http://www.ebates.com/rf.do?referrer...dnyuoXSA%3D%3D

Using that site I got a 5% off coupon then 3.5% cash back! So less then $200 a tire! Plus the $40 rebate, and the $100 treadlightly rebate

Man, I sure hope Silas' little sister doesn't ask him what SAF means.

I only thought of that after I left his place last night.

Hopefully he'd explain it as "Silly And Fun". :D

I also didn't realise that he's only 20 when I offered to bring beer. :anonymous:

I think I'm old enough to be his grandpa. :turtleride:

He showed me his 35" test tire & wheel; his truck will be SAF with his new setup, IMO.
