    Yeah, he's pretty awesome. He's a legit Methodist minister with a doctorate and everything. He just has tattoos and piercings and plays drums in a band, Next 2 the Tracks.

    Christian music, especially rock, has really taken off in the last 15-20 years. My friend Ryan at Grandma's Music tells me that that is a major segment of their customer base now.

    My kids both went to Believer's Center when they were teens, and they have good friends in Old Man Shattered, a Christian Rock band of that era.

    Kudos to your minister. :cool:

    I wouldn't call it "Christian Rock" per se, but there are some religious undertones. They call it "Indie Desert Rock" Check them out on iTunes or YouTube. Also they play at Uptown Sports Bar a lot.

    Also when they have to play a four hour set they bust out some awesome covers.
