    My U-joint is going bad too. So now I have to do the CV and a U joint. Luckily my parents have a vice lol.

    It is, I might just do it down here though, I can use the vice in the school machine shop. That way I don't have to work in the mud back home.

    lol.... if you have to hammer in a clip that has maybe 20 lbs of spring pressure... then you are doing it wrong...

    A solid cross piece of metal that has roller bearings inside of a cap. That is a u-joint... there is no pressure fitted parts that I see bud.... If you have to "press" it into the driveshaft then you for damn sure got the wrong part....
