    You going up it today?

I started to go down it from the top the weekend before last, but it was so icy under the snow I was afraid I'd slide off a cliff.

here we go. Ford 9" rear after breaking 5 sets of gears in the stock yota 8.8, 5.13 gears with a detroit hard locker, 63" chevy leafs and custom hangers, sky's front spring hanger with sky's extream hysteer and PSC hydro assist ram and PSC pump. welded front spyders in the f-550 front dana 60 with warn hubs, pico brake lines and hoses, elecrtic fan, TRD supercharger with URD 2.1 Pully, URD Map-ECU2 and cage built by me. wide band a/f by inovations, lots and lots more...........
Hybrid dana 60 and 14 bolt is the ideal setup. and fullwidth. would have to get rims or adapters for the new hubs... and to 4 link would cost alot more for a good pair of coilovers.. KING coils?

Whoa!!! It wasnt me talking about the SAS. It was Raymond! I was just throwing in my suggestion. I would build a older truck for all that. I really like the 14Bolt and would mod one for a steering axle. Have all that powered by a LSX motor on a Turbo 400 or 480LE tranny. Dual transfer cases blah blah blah.

:D You've got a very badass truck!

Mine is at stock ride height, and won't push through more than a foot or so of snow. And yeah, those off-camber turns w/ no guardrail worry me.

So we went out to go play in the snow today and on the way up the mtn it was getting a little slick and we watched a snowplow riding a ladies ass and all of a sudden we watch her slide off the road and into a small ditch and the snowplow just keeps on going! So we pull over and make sure she is ok and she is already just flooring it trying to get out of the ditch, she was very stuck, so I told her we would help her out, so about 5 min into trying to find a place to put a strap on this old POS thunderbird cops finally show up, and he tells us to just leave her, cause we are blocking the road and he wants us gone now( my wife was directing what little traffic we had before he rolled up!) He said he would call somebody to pull her out or he would do it, so we just him no, that we were almost done (he was an ass anyway) so he said fine just hurry up. So I hook up my snatch strap and just yanked her back on the highway and off we went to take my wife ice skating and to go play up in the deeper snow. So here is a little video I made of the days events....
