It was great meeting you guys.

Dustin, here is some reading for you to peruse concerning your Head Unit and ensuring the Steering controls will still work:

    http://hunt4steve.com/05TacoInt.html#Kenwood

As well, for the rest of you guys, here is some good info on getting your speedo set up:

    http://hunt4steve.com/05TacoInt.html#DD

It was great meeting you guys, enjoyed talking to all of you.

EDIT: Dustin, wanted to let you know that the 4.88:1 gears really are optimal for the 35" tires.
I paid attention to my tach when I was driving home and noted at exactly 75mph (with an accurate speedo) my tach is running 2600 RPM. At 80MPH, the tach is at 2800 RPMs. As well, I have enough power to stay in 5th gear and still pass other vehicles.

If you plan on keeping 35" tires, I would suggest going to 4.88:1 gears. If you are thinking about going to 33" tires, I'd wait to see how the 33" tires change your power on the highway, then make a decision.....just an obversation.....

the tacoma twins are two white 2007 tacomas used in a break in. me and my cousin both have white 2007 tacomas..and we cruise together every now and on saturday we were just drivin around not doing anything.. we both got pulled over by 4 police officers and were arrested on the spot..spent 4 hours in the holding cell and were released with none of our questions answered..we were given an apology and then sent out the door free to go.. haha..the biggest "WTF" moment of my life

once a month works for me! APD atf moments are a dime a dozen:

mine happend about 10 years ago my cousins wanted to cruise central for what reason i dont know anyways i told them apd pulls people over for no reason, well we top out central at coors and get pulled over in the albertsons parking lot, next thing you know where surrounded by 8 apd squad cars guns pulled spotlights on made us all exit drivers side door (nissan sentra) my luck i was in the back having to climb out this sardine can car ordered to get on the ground so there we are face down on the ground my cousins sitting in different apd cars so they rush over knee in my back getting cuffed being pulled next thing you know i hear over the apd cb "repeat suspects are in a 98 ford dark green mustang" i look up at the cops like WTF, so they are like these are the wrong guys they uncuff us and all take off, so were standing in the parking lot like WTF? anyways come to find out a drive-by happend a few blocks away they knew the car was a mustang but they pull over a silver sentra? stupid APD

LOL. Just because it's monthly doesn't mean it has to be the exact same day. 11/17 is a Tuesday anyway, so anyone not in ABQ probably wouldn't be able to make it. I know I wouldn't.

Also, Thanksgiving is next month so most likely people won't be able to make it that weekend.

If its the weekend before the 17th I know for sure I won't be able to make it and I just started a new job so I have no clue as to what my schedule would be.

Way to go tacoridinhigh on your truck making the top banner!

    Morning Albuquerquerquerquerque!!

The weather's great so I'm thinking about washing up the truck and finally getting some good pictures. Need to get some posted. I'll probably head up to RR, west of Southern. Anybody want to come along?
