Whats up guys.. no pics yet I actually just bought her a little over a week ago so I at least wanna toy with er a little bit before i get any pics ha, she's not looking too too pretty yet (although looking really good for an 8 year old car, so theres always that).

Fall will by my second semester of my soph year (so in the spring I'll be a junior), and I'm studying business so should be in Anderson by the time January comes around (we can only hope). I'm also a local hip hop emcee, work at the airport, yada yada yada lol

oy vey, haha. long story short: I think that it's a waste of time and money.

I think it's good to have a degree in certian very sensative fields, but for the most part, it should be EXPERIENCE based. Apprenticeships, internships, and working from the bottom up. It's sad that you need that little piece of paper that says you spent 4-7 years (or longer) learning how to pass classes with an 'A' even if you didn't learn anything long term, to even be looked at in the stack of reumes. (Not all) but a lot of students just graduate simply having learned how to cheat the system. Study the night before, barf everything up on the test the next day, and forget it all or most of it when you're done. It's just a poor way to learn unless your extremely driven and a disciplined individual. Unfortunately, those students all get the same piece of paper regardless. It's freaking stupid and I'm fed up with the education in this nation. It was awesome a couple hundred years ago.... We need to get the gubmint 100% out of the education business. That would fix a lot of problems right there... :)

Actually, I think that a lot of companies are also starting to feel this way, (which is why a ton of graduates aren't getting jobs...) but it is still the norm to get that diploma right now.... which is the only reason I'm going to complete my degree.

You asked. :D Be thankful I gave you the extremely abridged version! hahaha
Sweet, man. Hope to meet you soon!

nice man, well hopefully our paths can cross at UNM. i will also be a junior but im doing Mechanical Engineering, a little different than business hahaha.

it is very true though, i have been told many times that its more who you know than what you know. thats part of the reason why i have been doing scientific research since right after my senior year of high school, that way i can get my foot in the door as early as possible and start networking with important people.

what are you majoring in btw?
