mod, shit. My current one is slipping. Fix is more like it. :)

Not sure yet. Have the hankering to pull the struts myself and take it to a shop but probably just going to drop it off at 4WheelParts or Desert Rat and have them do it and the alignment.

Silas, I may be in for new tires next month. Budgeting out a re-gear and front locker. 285s FTW.

dont take it to a shop. i can help you install it, ive installed front shocks like 3 different times (my ranchos broke a lot). you can rent coil compressors at autozone for like 55, then they give you all the money back when you take them back. just let me know and id be happy to help you

That failure was at the mounting point, had nothing to do with the body of the bumper.

    Your argument is invalid.

haha I saw them on the bumper forums here and they looked pretty good! I really want an ARB bumper, but when I looked on their site they didn't have specs for the 2012 Reg Cab. I like your bumper too dont get me wrong :D

I'm going for more of an expedition vehicle than a crawler. ARBs are far superior for that than a tube bumper.

The ARB will just push through whatever gets in the way. ;)

Everyone has a right to their opinion, but don't under estimate a tube bumper. They are lighter and from personal experience stronger than plate bumpers. I had an arb on my first taco and I moved a dumpster at my work and it buckled where it mounts to the frame. I moved the same dumpster (damn city garbage truck driver wouldn't set it down in the right spot after dumping it) and it held up nicely. I did however fab the tube bumper myself and welded it directly to my frame.

Ya........I wouldn't do it just to hold down the tire. But that is just me.
