Is anybody currently running a set of these? I bought a set and was wanting some input.

If nobody is or has, I was thinking about maybe making a thread of how they wear overtime.

Solo long travel kit with outside frame mini hoops in rear. King remote shock system, custom glass quarter panels and fender flares. Tubbed footwells, custom hybrid exoskeleton, custom roof rack. Custom snorkel. Custom built bumpers and full skids. 35” tires. Custom 3 seat interior w/ Braun racing seats and 4 point harnesses.
I have had a set on for two years now on my 2004 Taco. They are wearing beautifully, and not a lot of road noise

I have heard that Mickey’s aren’t quite what they once were. I was looking at Mickey’s,at a dealer location, and they were trying to talk me into something else..

I have a set of them on my Taco...Going on 2 years now. They are good both off and on the road. They sure look a lot nicer than the overhyped K02 IMO.

I ran a set on my last vehicle in a 305/60r18 and initially I really liked them, they were louder than I was expecting considering it's an "all-terrain", but when the snow and ice settled in for the winter and I got stuck on an icy road with a slight incline I promptly swapped them out in favor of a set of KO2s. They were my first and only set of Mickey Thompson tires and the icy conditions mixed with the hilly nature of where I live were working against them, but if you don't encounter ice where you live I might buy them again, but probably not. FWIW I wouldn't buy KO2s again either, I like to mix it up.

Late last year in MN we had a foot of snow in one day. I aired down my 285/75/16's to 20 psi and it was like driving on tracks. Don't get me wrong, these are hard tires and will slip and slide if aired up to recommended psi. I didn't believe that airing down would make the difference it did.

Studded tires or momentum are the only way to overcome the ice in my neck of the woods. If it were only snow things might be different but in my little corner of the world we experience wild temperature swings during the winter that turn the roads into heavily grooved skating rinks. I simply chose the wrong tire because of a good deal. I have no doubt they'd be great in different climes.
