Was at the dealership today and couldn't miss the opportunity - told you I can't help myself. If anything, this just illustrates why people should swap out the OEM tires ASAP.

    Those are BEEFY!

I'm gonna wait until I need new tires before I upgrade to Beefier 265/65/R17s or 270/65/R17s without doing a lift on my Sport.

Well, I had high hopes of getting out more so I justified them as functional. Had I known that I'd be 6 months deep with only 2,000 miles on the truck, I would have waited as well...fingers crossed for this spring/summer...

I've been spending my cash getting OEM LED Headlights, TRD Skid, Talon Cat plate, Tailgate Lock, and other interior goodies...the bronze wheels/tires will be for possibly 2023?

What kind of tail gate lock you get? I really wish the pro came with the electronic one on top of the keyed lock that is included.

I think I am going to snag a running4tacos electric tail gait lock.

I mentioned cut off isn’t affected, but yes, output is also the same with or without the dremmeled cover. Covers removed and covers on below. Truck is parked at a slant but you get the picture. Also fogs were reaimed off asshole mode after installation. Aimed to show cutoff in this pic.

Those guys are “local” to were I live. The OEM one seemed loud when I did my research.

if there was a better one that wasn’t loud and people liked I’m open for suggestions. Kind of why I asked what @TacoTime55 got

Will do. Looking at the part that @TacoTime55 got the install looks similar. The actuator is different.

I think it comes down to how well they last. And quietness of operation.

This is probably why fog lights are going away from a lot of new vehicles recently. OEM ones don't do anything really other than styling. The headlight tech is where all the innovation is, making the fogs obsolete on the OEM side anyway.

This is unfortunate for those of us who still appreciate even the mildly functional, highly stylistic features...or even non-functional, highly stylistic features *co-scoop-ugh*

Yeah. I’m tend to be one of those mildly function guys. Then again. I do use them on dirt roads and in the fog and snow storms…… I had one vehicle over the years without fog lights, made me always want them.

A couple photos from back when she was stock. I’ve got 33s and rock sliders now which is about all I plan to do. I’m happy with my Pro, I like the little details. Tacomas aren’t cheap so might as well get the nice one.

Looking for resources for learning how to answer my question or straight up just the answer

Context: After installing the Eibach pro spring upgrades and 33"s (I know, it's the fault of the 33s, not lift), I'm rubbing my UCAs slightly while fully locked and in reverse. I put painters tape on them to figure out that it's exclusively in reverse, though my tests were limited to freeway, speed bumps at fast-ish speeds, and driving around town for about 45 minutes. The rubbing is so light and requires intention that I can't feel it (I noticed while washing the truck), but it bothers me to know it's happening.

Question: Will aftermarket UCAs fix this? Obviously spacers will, but few people recommend them and I'm not sure I'm willing to take the chance on my truck either way (unless you are a highly credible source and can convince me that they are fine - some say 1" or less are fine even for moderate off roading).

    Thanks!

I'm sorry, but for what your paying for a Pro, it should come with a front locker!
