I successfully argued how sliders protect the investment. Also helps that's she's short and needed a running start to get in the truck.

+1 for this tactic. Did the same with my table saw that won't cut off my fingers. With that one, though, she certainly feels entitled to reminding me of the table saw whenever there's work to be done around the house. Pick your battles.

My 2020 delivered with them. Was not a lined out option on the build, allocation, or delivery document.

I scraped a couple of times, but did not break off a step. I am currently researching trying to decide on which sliders to go with. I saw a set of Caliraised on a a Tacoma in Moab. They looked nice, but I need to do more looking. They are definitely the first upgrade. I am hoping that the Predators will fit on my 06 PreRunner that my youngest son is currently driving.

I just got back from a week long 2100 mile road trip with my wife. We visited 5 National Parks; Bryce Canyon, Capitol Reef, Canyonlands, Arches, and the Grand Canyon. The truck did great. It is absolutely filthy, but my dealer owes me a complete inside and out detail due to picking my truck up late in the day. Boy are they going to regret that! It goes in Monday at 8:00 am.

Now that I am home, I am going to start trying to decide on which slider manufacturer and style to go with.

I am guessing SawStop. Nice choice! I went with a Grizzly G1023RL. My father in law has all Powermatic in his shop.

Any tips for getting the bevel off without damaging the tabs or bumper paint?

@Formidable any tips on setting them up as well? Like getting them to point at the correct height etc.

Open the hood. Stick your arm all the way down so you can feel the fog lights. Reach around the fogs and you can feel the tabs for the bezel. Push the tabs in and pull the bezels out.

    Goodness gracious…

There are adjustable screws. Two 5mm Allen wrench I believe on each side of the DD light. Loosen and aim. Hold the fog in place and tighten down.

That’s why we pay you the big bucks. Some noobs on YouTube we’re prying at it with a panel tool (would have been my approach) and one with a screwdriver before it slipped. Appreciate it!

Some dude is selling his brand new OEM TRD Fox suspension kit for $1200 in my area. Is it worth it? Seems a little to high since front and rear rebuildable fox 2.0s are around the same price. Thanks!

I would buy them so you have a spare set when your current ones need to be sent in for a rebuild. I know the Fox suspension on my mountain bikes usually takes 2 -3 weeks turnaround for a rebuild, when sent directly to Fox. it would be a bummer to have your truck up on jackstands for that entire time.

Hope all is well! Just threw this victory 4x4 blitz on and let me tell ya, the shopping carts haven’t stood a chance! Big fan of being able to retain OEM components, should I ever sell. Now to find a winch to help me up all the damn weeds that have been showing up in my yard.
