I have a stock 2019 cement TRD sport. I am getting the Pro grill and more aggressive tires. Does anybody recommend any exterior upgrades to start on?

Bed mat. You’ll understand once things start sliding around in your truck bed.

Was thinking the same actually. I will be throwing surfboards and bikes in the bed so that’s a great consideration

Pull the bedside stickers off the quarter panels and put your own style on.

@CBoy808 can do affordable custom designs.

Window tint and some cosmetic changes - removing chrome, tailgate letter inserts, changing up the bed decal, just all personal style preferences really - are good ways to start, usually very affordable.

As stated above, a bed mat is basically a necessity if you plan on using your truck as a truck - the composite bed has its benefits, but is also like an ice rink for gear/supplies/tools.

A bed cover was one of the first things I considered for a mod, both for security and to protect the bed and its contents from the elements. Lots of options and price ranges, many threads on here discussing them.

From there, the list of possibilities goes on. But, it's good on the wallet to start small.

Take off your front fairing, or maybe wheeling will do it for you...

If you don't mind the look, I would say a roof rack. I installed one on my truck and I feel it gives off a pretty rad look, along with added capability.

I wanted the pro grille too, but the more time I spend with the 2019 TRD Sport/Off Road grille, the more it grew on me. Especially after removing the chrome ring around it.MVIMG_20190429_155342.jpg IMG_20190501_110546.jpg

So far, all lettering is blacked out instead of the paint. And it came tinted lol.

What I did the moment I got my Taco/my must haves are:

OEM Bed mat (should just come with every truck)
    Aftermarket grille
Black emblems and Black tail gate lettering
    Kicker drop in tweeters

Tint the windows. Tailgate letter inserts. Take care off any and all chrome badges. Throw a sticker or two on the rear window. That’s what I would do

    Nice looking truck btw

I think a lot of mods depend on where you are. I'm a fan of Alaska mods, but I live in Alaska so go figure.

LED light bars because it is dark half the year.

Mounting spare tire in bed and getting a extra one, because undermount tires always run through eventually. And we have major highways that are gravel.

50 or 100 gal bed t tank because it can be a while in between has stations.

On previous vehicles I put expanded metal over windows to prevent bears from breaking them, but I'm not sure if I'll do it on this truck.

How did you get rid of the chrome piece around the grill? Looks a lot better with it black instead of chrome.
