Just back from the Apple store and did a direct comparo between the Droid RAZR, and the Iphone 4s. The Razr smokes it in every way.

Lol like an hour after I replied to this thread my dad and I went out to costco and say the wireless area. Saw a package, like the docking station, hdmi cable for phone and outsource battery on the go including with phone that also comes with a car charger, phone case, and screen protectors all for $313. I'm due for an upgrade so i decided to get the RAZR. My dad has it also. Got it the day it came out which is 11-11-11. SO far I like my new phone :)

It is the HTC Rezound, and yeah, it is faster than the Comcast internet I pay $40 per month for.

2Mbps is pretty good on 3g. It sounds like it is time for you to upgrade :)

    It is crazy fast.

Really want one of these new droid razr's. My droidX is getting pretty slow/glitchy on me, and we now have 4g lte here in Reno so that makes me want it even more.
Just ran speed test on my phone, results on 3g were horrible:
    test 1:
    download .21 mbps
    upload .58 mbps

    test 2
    download .19mbps
    upload .31 mbps

    test 3
    download .49mbps
    upload .48 mbps

no kidding! there is a new droid every other week. i just got rid of my last pos droid phone for ever. almost got the iphone 4s for me and the wife but verizon wouldnt give the wife one for free so i down graded and got basic phones. i had problems with every droid phone i have ever had from original to droid x to droid x2. maybe its motorola or maybe they all suck. but paying 70 extra dollars a month for 2 data phone plans is insane. so more money for tacoma mods!! good luck with your droid!

x2, but I still WANT one of the new Droids. (Got one for my wife, and we both really like it.)

Unfortunately, I HAVE TO carry a BlackBerry for work and I'm not interested in carrying two phones/PDAs. :(

i hear that a lot of people have never had problems with theirs but we were not that lucky. we did multiple factory resets on them had to delete all content off the sd card, and i went through 3 droid x2's in just about three months. i told verizon i wanted free phones or i would cancel my account( been with them for 7 years) almost had them on the i phones but they couldnt do it. so we down gradded. tradded in the pos droids got 120 dollars back plus 100 dollar rebates for the phones which made it out to be verizon paid us 60 dollars to take those phones lol. is 1680 dollars plus the cost of 2 smart phones worth listening to pandora at the gym and updating people on how bad my day is going at work.... i dont think so.. specially since we can get on fb at work lol

speaking of battery's, heard the razor battery sucks ass. I got a bigger battery for my htc and it last four days. Does the razor battery last long enough?

Mines showing 70% after 15 hours off the charger. I think there might have been a bad batch of batteries, but thats the case with most new phones anyway. The folks that are exchanging them seem to have no issues after the exchange. Also, if the phone is switching between 4g, and 3g, if you live in a fringe area, it will burn more battery. But, you can lock out 4g, and keep it on 3g to prevent that from happening.
