I guess. I had a Moto Razr v3 for ~7 years had a 2 year contract and now just pay month to month. I decided to get up to date with a new phone and now hate my HTC because I'm going from 2-3 days of constant use to ~5 hours even with app killer.
Is there anything you don't like about it? I've heard reviews say that with it being so wide it isn't as comfortable in your hand. I may be over thinking this but as you can see above when I buy something I plan to get my monies worth.

The width had me worried for a little bit, but being as its so thin, you dont notice it as much as I thought I would. There isnt one thing I dont like about it. The speed is fantastic, battery life, and the colors on the screen are amazing.

Only issues I have heard about the phone have been the camera. Im not sure what the issue is, but I think the pics are fine. This pic was taken with the phones camera on "Auto" :

Only reason why it's so uncomfortable is because it's top heavy. I use both hands to hold it since I dont want to drop it.

The MAXX is very well ballanced. I never noticed any top heavy feel on my regular RAZR

I do. Depending on how I hold. Even with firm. Yea I went the other day to resolve a payment issue at verizon and saw the MAXX. How long did you have the RAZR before you got the MAXX?

I think I had it about a month or so. The exchange window is 14 days, but they had a manager approve the exchange for me, as a "Thanks for the business" type thing.

I just got the razr maxx from using the x2. Really happy with it so far.

Left unrooted for 2 weeks. Liked it but gut a few glitches. Like it much better rooted. Which is what i have always done with my x and x2 phones.

    Ics is availible when rooted.

Battery life is rad. Like the camera (also changeable rooted)

Talked to a verizon rep who said several employees in his store root the equipment. Even said my warranty would still be good rooted. He said its Motorola who doesnt like the rooting. Im sure he exaggerated given that i can now tether and demand more signal.

    Good phone!

So how are you guy's liking the Razr's after a few more months of having it? I'm out of contract and into monies so I'm thinking of upgrading. Do you feel that the Maxx is worth the extra $100 over the regular? What the fuck is Ice Cream Sandwhich, the fattty in me hopes that it'll spit out an ice cream sandwhich whenever I tell it to do so but I know that'll never happen, is it worth getting? What are your good's and bad's about the phone? I still have my HTC and it's giving me about 2-1/2 hours of texting/tweeting/Tapatalk time while roaming and about 4 via WiFi so needless to say I don't like the battery life. What data plan's do y'all recommend like how much facebooking/tweeting/web browsing could I do with 2GB of data? Should I do 4, 8, or unlimited? I recon I'd do about a solid 3 hours a day using data. Thank's guy's.

I have the MAXX and love it! This week, under light use (nav., web, text, and phone about 4 hours total), the battery was at 70% after 2 days. I havent been able to kill it in a day, no matter how hard I try.

I love the maxx. I don't do as well as Chris on the battery. I get about two days on a charge. Perhaps slightly more.

I charge every night regardless, but I dont use it at work. I could get an easy 3 or 4 days out of one charge under light use.

I love my RAZR. Granted it's not the maxx but I love it. My wife has an iPhone 4s and I really believe it depends on the person.
